sadie:
is a game developer, audio specialist, and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. She is interested in ecological histories and futures and the bounds of virtual cinema. She has worked as an educator, an engineer, a contracted technician, and a commissioned artist.
Sadie has created digital instruments, film and game scores, sound effects, games, prototypes, experimental films, 3D&2D animations, title designs, interactive music videos, analog video art, live A/V systems, VJ performances, music events, livestreams, and more.
history:
Sadie Meadow Bernstein (b. New York, NY) graduated from NYU Tisch with a degree in Game Design. Her senior capstone project Rewilding, a melancholic ecology simulation, won a grant from the Game Center Incubator, and Sadie was interviewed for Wired Magazine. Rewilding is currently in development and seeking funds.
After graduating, Sadie spent two years at StoryToys as a Junior Engineer, developing content updates for Disney Coloring World. She designed a "Music Room" minigame, a 16-step sequencer built for children age 5-7.
She has recently been taking on contract work, including animation, sound design, scoring, title design, editing, music video direction, and VFX.
