Rewilding is a meditative ecology game about regenerating a forest over hundreds of years. The story follows Syd and Geva: a solitary ReGen initiate and their mandated AI companion. As time moves through them, the pair struggle to protect the needs of a recovering ecosystem from mysterious corporate meddling.
Gameplay focuses on an ecological simulation where plants are your main tools. Players choose plants based on their contributions to the overall ecosystem and work towards building a self-sustaining community of flora. As the years flow on, players will wander through a forest they helped design--a living, breathing entity all its own.
